Birgitta Fernström Productions
Birgitta Fernstrom Productions was established 1996 and produces programs for large and small events – public or internal – with or without partners.
Birgitta Fernström was trained at The State School of Opera and Drama (today called The Academy of Music and Drama) in Gothenburg, Sweden. She has since the 1970´s worked as an actress, singer, director and teacher and has a very large range.
Theatre/Regi
Birgitta has many years of experience as an actor and singer at different theatres. Amongst her roles are Sara Videbäck in It’s allright (Det går an) and Fredrika in A play about Fredrika Runeberg (En pjäs om Johan Ludvig Runebergs hustru).
As a teacher and director she has presented musicals such as West side story, Fiddler on the roof and Jack the Ripper and dramas such as The jorney to the green shadows (Resan till de gröna skuggorna) and Seven women’s life (Sju kvinnors liv).
Poetry/Readings
Birgitta has given music- and poetry programs in churches and other public places. Her programs are frequently requested by societies. Current programs embrace light poetry and prose, interpreted in word and tones by Birgitta Fernström.
Music/Concerts
As a singer Birgitta has given both concerts and other programs, on her own and together with other musicians.
Books
In 2010 Birgitta released her book för children, The musical mouse Ebba.
